Day 2- Twin Mountain, NH to Hartland, VT

Today was tough. 90 miles total. Sandy made me a wonderful breakfast. I had a little rain, but not like yesterday.

I ran into a fellow tourer who was pedaling with one pedal because his other had broken. Believe it or not, he said the west coast was easier than New England which he had just spend 12 days cycling through.

The theme of this day was hills! I hope no one tells me its all downhill to New Orleans again. It's simply not true. It was a beautiful day however. I took a ton of pictures of New England churches, although I didn't get all of them, obviously.

I started to fade around mile 55 and had some gels to refuel. Rolled into Hartland around dark.
Mile 55

I was greeted by Jill and Mallory who I connected with on warmshowers.org (a great website that connect people like me with people that are willing to host them.) They took good care of me.
