Day 3- Hartland, VT to Sunderland, VT

Today was lovely for the first half,

The Connecticut River

but the second half was filled with hills again. I did 70 miles.

When I got to Manchester, VT, I called my host for the evening and he either gave me wrong directions or I heard them wrong. Anyway, I was suppossed to only be 5 miles from his house, but ended up doing a 9 mile loop back to the same town. Darn it! I called him to pick me up as it approaching dark.

The next day was scheduled to be a 90 miler again. I thought better of it and broke it up into two parts.
